Long-distance and out-of-town moves are priced on distance and crew rather than a simple hourly clock, so you get a realistic number for the whole trip. For larger or interprovincial moves we confirm the inventory with a quick call or video walkthrough before locking the quote.
Local moves are billed by the hour: a crew rate (based on crew size) times the estimated hours for your home, plus a travel fee. Our instant calculator shows the full breakdown — crew rate, hours, travel and any add-ons — as a price range before you book. The clock starts when we arrive and stops when the last item is placed, so you only pay for the time the move actually takes.

The more notice the better, especially for month-end and summer weekends, which fill up first. Two to four weeks ahead is ideal, but we'll always try to accommodate shorter timelines — get a quote and check availability online any time, day or night.
